Thanksgiving!!!

Finally, the fall semester is over!  I can write, I can post photos...geez, I can finally take photos!  It's been too long.  But despite all the business and stress of school, I was still able to have an amazing Thanksgiving break with family and friends.  Being apart from my family in California for the holidays is a fairly new thing for me, but I was excited to be able to spend a few days with my grandparents in Montana. 

Jackson had an amazing time: chasing the deer through the snowy hayfield, riding with me on the quad, and playing with my cat, Maverick.

 Just up this road a ways over 60 Bighorn Sheep were blocking the road.  Jackson and I were on the quad. and approached to a safe distance and watched the sheep graze and lick the roads, maybe for the sodium-chloride in deicing agents?

I spent a few days in Montana, then left for Idaho.  I was spending Thanksgiving with Bill and his family in St. Maries.  With all the kids and friends in town for the holiday there was a lot of fun to be had.  We went to parties, watched movies, went shooting, went on a nice walk through the hay field, and did a lot of relaxing.  The break was very needed.
