So look to the sky.

So this was the sunset two days ago in Moscow, Idaho.

Some people complain about the fact that the Palouse hills physically surround the residents of this small community, how one can only see four miles in any direction in most parts of Moscow, how the overcast, dreary gray winter stretches longer than anyone can bear.

My response to these complaints is a nod of understanding and empathy, as I am patiently trudging through this winter as well.

But I then point people to the silver-lining, the bone that nature has thrown us:  staggering sunsets....every evening.
So look to the sky.

I know being pregnant might have something to do with it but I started crying after reading your post. In such a simple way it just gives a person hope, citizen of Moscow or not. A metaphor for my life.
Chelsea, your comment is making me reflect, and how I want to cry; but I'm too happy for you and your growing family. Thanks for sharing.
