The Star Valley

Star Valley Grazers
Wyoming's Star Valley was a destination I was urged to visit. As I climbed a large mountain pass, along the western most border of the Bridger National Forest, massive dark trees and slate gray clouds dominate the landscape. The valley below splayed open, exposing the greenest pastures, dotted with lithe Bay, Dun and dark Roan horses. A classic symbol of the Rocky Mountains and the West, the Quaking Apen, shows off it's late spring colors: greens seamlessly blended with the brightest yellow you could imagine.
